It Stopped Raining!!!

There was some sunshine early this morning, but now it's cloudy.  I just came in from a 2 mile walk with my mom. We have had no water for over 4 hrs now due to a pipe break.....strange if you ask me---too much water everywhere yesterday and today none.  It's time for a nap...now where is my mom so I can curl up in her lap!

Dark, wet rainy day

It rained......hard...all day.  My mom's dinner out was rescheduled, the electric went out, I did not want to go out and my mom dragged me to the door and made me go with her.  I hate getting wet and it was wet...very wet. I just want to stay wrapped in a blanket near my mom.  I do not like rainy days like today!

Rest Day

I need to catch up on sleep today...the holidays have worn me out!  Last night I did little dances in the living room where I was visiting! Let me catch some zzzs mom...no a.m. walk for me!

Brr..that wind is cold

Even with a sweater on I get chilled and shiver for 10-15 minutes after coming it...my mom even wraps me up in a blanket! It suppose to get warmer later this week and I can't wait!  My mom has been in and out all day, but I heard her say I am going with her tonite to  her b-day dinner at a friends...yeah...I love going with my mom and I will be the ONLY dog so hey..works for me!!  Birthday wuffs to you mom!!!!

It's the day after Christmas and...

I am relaxing and snoozing...alot!!!  It was very cold outside last night and this morning...I could not stop shaking! I heard someone tell my mom that she could bring me with her when she attends a birthday  celebration tomorrow--yeah.....I love going with my mom when she visits other people! (esp. when it's her birthday!)  Wuff ya mom!!!

I had better be asleep early so my stocking gets filled!!!  I have been staying up late the last few evenings cause my mom has had company.  Last night a friend of hers rubbed me between the ears and I fell asleep in his lap....when he got up to leave I growled---did not want him to wake me up!

Time For A Walk

...it is soo nice outside...alittle cooler than yesterday, but I am ready for a walk none the less.  My mom has been busy today.....in and out.  To make a statement I follow her around and the minute she sits down I am in her lap!!  She said we have company coming tonite (and you all know how I love it when visitors are here..can we say..throw the ball, please?!)  I also heard I got invited to accompany my mom to a friend's house Xmas morning--yeah!!!!  Now time to find my mom and drag her to the door for a walk!!

Today is rest day

I had a great time last night with company...but today I am tired...I just want to crawl up in my mom's lap and snooze....good thing I heard her say she is taking it easy today because tomorrow will be busy.  Yeah...lap time and I heard her say a long walk later.  I love vacation!!!

Fisrt Day Of Winter?!!

It is 81 out--too warm for Dec. 21st if you ask me.  My mom says we have company coming tonite...yeah..someone to throw the ball to me!!!

I made my mom proud

New groomer and a male no less at the vet and I did not even growl!!!  I look beautiful if I say so myself!  I was also checked by Dr. H and my rear is all clear! Yeah! (until the next allergy flare up-sigh)  My mom had him check my eyes too as they have been a tad bit irritated and he said allergies. What can I say..I am a sensitive mini!!! I will say though..all those other dogs waiting to be groomed wore me out...I need to snooze in my mom's lap...now!

Can you tell I am happy when she's home and I am in her lap...where I belong?!  I think I am going to like having her home for two weeks.  Tomorrow I get groomed...by a guy groomer at my new vet..we shall see how that goes (I will try and make my mom proud, but males make me nervous). Time to find my mom and get back in her lap!!!

Over The Hump Wed

My mom had company over tonite and you know how I love that...lots of petting and ball throwing for me!!! I also heard someone say..only 2 more days of school.  Yeah for me...I heard Christmas break is 2 whole weeks!!! I can hardly wait...wuff you mom!!

Weekend

I love the weekend..though my mom has been gone alot today...sigh.  We did get in a short walk and she managed to find time to bathe and put that medicated leave in lotion on me..sigh. (baths are not my favorite)  I saw her slip some things in my stocking..hey mom I thought Santa Paws did that?!  I wish she'd sit down so I could get some decent lap time in!!! She took more pics of me today too..hey mom when will they be on my blog...hmmm?????

A Wild 24hrs

Yesterday I had a T4 and was given the good news I was off thyroid meds.  Today I was throwing up when my mom came home and back to the vet I went! In a mere 24hrs my allergies exploded on my behind (darn cold wet weather) and my mom gave me 1/2 antifungal pill and I was sick 3 hrs later.  It seems there is sulfur in this med and I do not tolerate sulfur....so no more meds with sulfur for me.  Am on a bland diet for the next 24 and then an antibiotic for the mess on my behind....sigh.  I hear the vet tell my mom I will always have allergies...it's just a matter of containing them.  Oh and I saw the main man (i.e. vet) today....I growled at him but made my mom proud as I let him pet me and was nice to him (I have to growl first to show him who's boss)! Now where is my moms lap to curl up in...hmmmm????

It's Chilly Out

and I do not want to be anywhere except on my mom's lap under a comforter!  I had Xmas pictures taken yesterday.....we shall see if I let my mom post any! (I mean I have to good good before I let her post a pic!!)

Saturday

I have been enjoying the day with my mom...it has been an absolutely beautiful day weather wise.  Though busy she somehow found the time to bathe me and leave that special medicated lotion on to clear up the few remaining scabs I have.  I was less than pleased, but took it like a dog!  I jump in her lap everytime she sits down, hoping she will stay seated, but no such luck.  I noticed as she was wrapping presents for under the tree there was another one for me!!!!

Yeah it's Friday

..which means the weekend is here and my mom will be around more...I hope I can convince her to take me for a long walk!! It's suppose to be nice this weekend. I heard her say I will be having pictures taken...hmmmm...suppose that means I will be wearing a Santa hat again...in front of the tree no less.  What I do to amuse her and earn a treat! Wuff you mom!!

Sunday Afternoon

Just woke up from an afternoon nap with my mom. It was a beautiful day out for a dog walk and then a quick snooze!  I heard my mom say to someone it's back to work tomorrow....sigh.  I see she even wrapped a few gifts and put them under the tree (one is for me...hmmm maybe I should investigate when she's at work tomorrow).

Brrr.....it was cold this morning

I got to wear a sweater during our short..um...rather brisk walk. (in the 30s).  I love having my mom home more--she has been very busy though.....putting all these trees up (why are trees inside..hmmm)  I found a secret bag in her closet and I know there is a squeaky toy in it--I heard it when I pounched on it!  Unfortunately she took it and put it up high...said something about it not being Christmas yet...hmmm I know there is a toy in there!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I am thankful today for MSRH  and esp. Aunt Karen and Uncle Mike who took me in and cared for me when I was dumped at their very door.  I am also most thankful for my mom who adopted me and gives me the best of everything (hey even lets me type on her lap top when she's gone).  I wuff you mom!!!! Now where's my treat...hmmm???

Wednesday

I am liking today...my mom has been home most of it and I have been in her lap...except when she gets up (why she has to move around and do things I do not know!).  I then get in my chair and watch her do stuff.  She said we are having company tonite...good...more attention and someone to throw the ball for me!!!  I like it when my mom is off!!!

Vet Visit

So today I saw the vet for my T4 and they decided to wait another 2 wks (since I had been so sick) and in the mean time drop me to 1/2 throid pill a day.  I also received some allergy pills and some conditioner to use with my medicated shampoo as I still have some lingering scabs in...well "certian places" (hey I am modest).
When we got home my mom gave me a special treat...I am so glad she has 5 days off...more time for me...yeah!!!!! Wuff you mom!

Oh my--another early Christmas Present for ME!!!!!

My mom came home with a new ID tag for me today.  It's pink with rhinestones (shaped like a bone) and my name/info is engraved in script...pretty nice if you ask me...some more bling bling for me!!!

I am ready for the weekend and some lap time!  It has been rather chilly lately, esp. at night and I just want to curl up in my mom's lap! Hey mom..you need to get my sweaters out...didn't I already mention that once before?!

New Groomer

Today after school my mom took me to a new groomer and waited while I was groomed (to see how I did).  I did not growl although I did yap some.  I made my mom proud though and I look great (if I say so myself!). They said I was a real lady and adorable too! Hey mom, now where are my special treats...hmmmm????

Need a sweater please...

It is damp and chilly out. Even inside I want to be either in my mom's lap or curled up under a throw next to her! Time to get the sweaters out!!! I heard her tell someone that tomorrow I see a new groomer...hmmm..stay tuned!!!!

Doggie Bling

My mom really loves me...she went to 4 different doggie stores today to find a replacement for my pink doggie bone w/rinestones that got broken. I mean a girly girl like me must have my doggie bling! Thanks mom...I wuff you!!!!

I miss my mom....she has had things to do in the evenings this week and I want me time!!!! She did come home most days at lunch to walk me and give me a treat!  Wuff you mom!!!!

A rainy Wed

It is wet and cool out and you all know how I hate getting wet!!  I think my mom needs to buy me a raincoat...her last mini had one so why not me?!

Yes indeed my mom did!  We just got home from a two mile walk by the water and trees and ducks...oh my...so many smells and scents I could hardly contain myself!!! I need a nap now and am going to lie by the open patio door for a quick snooze...I love fall weather, don't you?!

I Love The Weekend

Alas...it's Monday

...which means mom went to work today...sigh.  She did come home at lunch and check on me though. One more day and I am off the meds from a week ago....I have to say I am pretty well med-ed out!!!!

Sunday

I have been busy...yesterday I had my groom and then a vet recheck..I was at two different vet offices all morning.  Good News is...I am doing real well...yeah...only 3 more days on the meds (that I began taking last Tues).  I am hoping to have some me and mom time today...she was rather busy yesterday afternoon and I am ready to play...I mean I am feeling better!  I am tired of her telling me I need to rest...come on...where's that ball...hmmm?  Oh and it is definitely time to shake the squirrel toy!!!

It is Friday

...and I am sooo happy...that means the weekend is near and I am feeling sooo much better.  I get a groom tomorrow.  I can't wait to have lots of lap time with my mom...wuff you mom...I know how worried you have been about me (heck I was alittle scared myself!).

Vet Visit Again

I was not well today...my mom came home to find me sick--feverish and I had thrown up all over (I tried not to)  My usual vet was out of town so my mom took me to another vet that she knows..they were so nice to me...although they did take blood and I was there for 2 hrs  So now I am home and on more meds for my stomach and fever...sigh...I don't mean to worry you mom...I want to be well more than you want me to...what a week and a half I have had!

I love the cooler weather

...it helps my skin stay clear and it is awesome for dog walking.  I am hoping when mom gets homes from church she takes me for a niec, long walk!!!!

It's Friday

I hope my mom is feeling better when she gets home as she wasn't doing so well after school yesterday.  I am ready for play time, walk time, lap time and most of all Brooke Time...big time...let the weekend begin..come home NOW mom!!!!

And yet another vet visit

I have a fever...shot for that.  Tummy inflamed and gurgling...liquid antibotics for that...... hey my behind was looking real good!  (more antifungal pills for that after I finish off my liquid antibotics) Also some flora stuff for my mom to sprinkle on my foods to help my intestinal tract and are we done yet?!  I mean really...oh and I was down near 2lbs...well you would be too if you had been going thru all I have the last month.  Now where is my mom.........I need some major lap time!!!

Never a dull moment

So my mom shared some small bites of chicken breast with me...she ate most of it and got sick! I didn't feel much better and laid unmoving all day Sunday--shaking at times. I wouldn't eat anything.  My mom put cool towels on me and made me drink water.  This morning she called the vet...I heard her say she was dropping me off.  Within 10 min I got up and ran around and dropped all my toys at her feet. (most I have moved in 24hrs) I heard my mom call the vet back and make an appt. for the afternoon to go in with me.  (I am not stupid-I do not want to be there for the day)  I am still not eating and feel under the weather.  At least my mom is home too (she was sicker than me)...nasty chicken!

It's the weekend!!!

I am sooo happy...I just want to go on lots of walks and be in my mom's lap!  Today the lab results came back on my...ahem..rear end fungus and it is yeast.  My mom was frustrated...hey mom it's not your behind with all the scabs!! I want to be all clear more than you want me to be...geez....this is getting so old...I think I need a treat!!

Hey It's Thursday and

guess what?  My mom is home...she said something about  getting out early cause of Teacher/Parent Conf. Day.  I am liking this...I am right in her lap where I belong! She said she has to go back to school from 4-7 pm...oh well...I will take an afternoon lap time anytime I can get it!  Wuff you mom!!!!

Dog Walking Weather

It has been my kind of weather the past two mornings...62 degrees!  This  morning there was even a light cool breeze blowing.  Gotta love that! I love fall!

It's Friday..

....and I have been at the vets all day...they took a sample of my fungus and sent it to the lab..and then another medicated shampoo/bath...hey mom...get here soon..I want to go home...NOW!!!!!

My mom says I have to spend Friday at the vets again due to my skin issues on my hindquarters..sigh. I am tired of it and I know my mom is too!!!

I feel pretty...

oh so pretty! Spa day...no dip, just a medicated shampoo and groom.  I think I look wonderful, if I say so myself! I like Spa Sat as I go in at 8:30 and am out by 10:30! I heard them tell my mom one more week of pills and then a re-eval on Friday! (I am kind have crusty and flaking on the backside---but that's a good thing) I want to be all cleared up just as much as my mom wants me to be! Wuff you mom!

Yeah....It's Friday

...and I know what that means...the weekend and more time with my mom!!!  I get groomed tomorrow and have my skin rechecked...I hope to see my friends Heidi and Sissy there so we can bark at each other!!!

Saturday

It's the weekend...yeah!!!!  I am feeling much better this morning after sleeping pretty much nonstop from the time my mom brought me home from the vet at 4 yesterday. That shot really stopped the itching...I hate shots, but it worked.  I am feeling frisky and ready to play..now where did my ball go?!!!!!!!

It's Friday and I am finally home!

Spent the day at the vet...a mange dip, a medicated shampoo wash, a shot and more pills...and then waiting for my mom to get me out of there!!! I am exhausted...I looked at my mom pitifully...of course I howled and cried when she left me as well as ran before they could even put my collar on when they took me out of the cage....I heard my moms voice and I ran as fast as I could and jumped into her arms!!

Over The Hump Wed.

I am still having skin issues and get dipped again this Friday...that means an all day stay at the vet's office...sigh.  At least then it will be the weekend and I will make sure to look pitiful so my mom pays extra special attention to me!!

...so you know what that means..I like to look out the window at the rain and I want my mom to toss the ball to me.  It's a good thing my mom took me out before it started pouring as I hate getting my paws wet!!!

3 Day Weekend

Last night I made sure to cuddle right up against my mom to make sure she didn't go anywhere...esp. after the day I had on Friday! I am feeling sooo much better and I heard my mom tell someone my hind quarters are looking better too (good grief TMI mom!!!). I am ready for 3 days of "Brooke time"!!!!!!

TGIF

I am sooo glad it is the weekend as I had a rather rough day.  Infact most of my day was spent at the Vet's office.  You know how my skin is...well I have fungus---again and mange.  I was scrapped and dipped and have new meds...my poor mom was a wreck..hey mom, how about me...hmmmm. I did well though at the vet's all day...I mean it is an interesting place to hang out at...lots of critters in and out.  I will say though when I heard my mom's voice I started howling and barking...I was SOOO excited.  I could not wait to get home and curl up in my mom's lap...I am tired! I heard her tell the vet 3 days off and she would be pampering me...hey I like the sound of that...all about me for 3 days!!!  Yeah!!!!

Monday Monday

Another start to a new week...meaning mom goes to work and I have to amuse myself or sleep during the day...now where is my squirrel to shake?!

Bath

You know I really do not care for baths (I don't like getting wet)...but I took it like a dog.  My skin is so sensitive it breaks out so I need to have medicated shampoos weekly....I did make sure to splash water on my mom as hey...if I have to be wet she does too!!!

Let the weekend begin!!!

Yeah...my mom is home...she said it's the weekend and I am ready for "Brooke Time" with my mom!!!!!!

Sunday Afternoon Lap Time

I just heard my mom tell someone she was putting her feet up and giving me some lap time.  Hey it's about time!  I mean I have watched her run in and out all weekend.  She also sat on the floor in the office and cut out stuff almost all afternoon on Sat. (and when she has sissors in her hands I can't get in her lap)  She has been so busy she makes me want to take a nap (and I do)  But yeah...finally "lap time" for me!!!!

It's Friday!!!!

And that means the weekend is here and I need to be pampered!!!! How about some lap time, throw the ball time, squeaky toy time ......just all out Brooke time!!!!!

Ok...I am not sure I am liking

...this back to school schedule.  My mom comes home for lunch every day and I get right in her lap as she eats and/or types on the lap top.  She told me next week it is regular schedule...sigh...guess I will be sleeping during the day (like last year) so I have lots of energy for her when she comes home!!!!

...this morning. I knew when she got up early and took a shower and stood in front of a mirror etc that it meant she was leaving for the day!  I don't know if I like this back to school deal. I gave her my most pitiful don't leave look when she left!

It's the last day of my mom's summer vacation...which means I will go back to napping during the day while she is gone and will be ready to play big time when she comes home after school each day!!!  Now if the weather would only get cooler...I miss long walks!

Gotta love the weekends!

Yesterday was great.  I got to partake of my favorite ~ Frosty Paws, as well as some slices of grilled chicken. My mom played fetch with me (and I could play till I literally drop!).  We also went on a nice walk after the sun went down..loved it!!! All in all a great one year anniversary day! I heard my mom tell someone only two days till she goes back to work..sigh....I like having her around during the day!

My One Year Anniversary

A year ago today my mom met me and brought me home with her!  I knew she was sad about The Cane's crossing the bridge and did my best to make her all mine!!!  It has been a good year...she has learned my lessons well and I dare say is right where I want her in the palm of my paw!!!!  I heard her say I get groomed today and will get Frosty Paws (my fav) as my treat!!!  Wuff you mom!!!!

In Memory ~ Candy "The Cane" Bacon

A year ago today my mom lost her beloved Candy "The Cane".  It was a sudden, shocking loss and I know she still misses her.  I think I did a good job at cheering her up...especially through those first few dark days. (she adopted me the next day...but that story is for tomorrow)  As for today I dedicate this shout out to the memory of the one and only Candy Cane!!

And it's another hot day out...

I was sweating when we took a walk before 7 a.m. this moring.  When will it be cool??  My mom has to go to school today..at least she isn't gone long.  I go to the spa on Saturday to be groomed....you know what that means...mom will be taking more pictures of me.  Saturday is my one year anniversay with my mom!

I watched my mom head out the door to school today.  She said she was going to set up her classroom...sigh...that means vacation is coming to an end.

Ok..so I didn't do well yesterday

...while visiting Eddie B.  He was trying to sniff me and I growled and snapped at him (yeah, my mom was upset with me) I liked Martha and even jumped in her lap for some petting. I just do not do well with dogs larger than me and am very insecure when in an unfamiliar place and just want my mom near me...or better yet I want to be in her lap! I really tried, but was so nervous I start shaking!! I like it best if it's just the two of us...or other friends at MY house (and no furry four legged ones).

Tomorrow's Visit

Tomorrow is our rescheduled visit with Martha and Eddie B. Pictures will be forth coming...and you all know how I feel about "mini men"!!!

Another Hot Day

Boy, is it ever hot out!! I refuse to go outside in the heat of the day...yesterday my mom had to carry me to a shaded area--put me down and let me do my business and then pick me up and carry me back. (hey the hot sidewalk is hard on my delicate furry paws)!!!!

Early Morning Walk

I can tell my mom is feeling better as we went on a short early morning walk!  I love walks cause I sniff everything and mark every 1-2 feet!!! We passed 5 cats..oh my...too much for me!!!! Now it's time for a morning nap...ah...love these summer days!!!

August ~ where has the time gone?!

So it's August ~  where has the time gone?!  My mom says she goes back to school in 2 wks....2 wks...I can hardly believe it!!!  She's feeling better by the way..I had to lay on her and make sure she knew I was with her when she was feeling so poorly! My one year anniversary of choosing my mom is only 2 wks away too!!! Hmm wonder what she'll get me...treats are always nice..hint hint!!!!

Rescheduled Visit

I heard mom just say our visit with Eddie B is rescheduled....she has a cold/sinus infection and looks bad (if you ask me) But don't tell her I said that! I am trying to cheer her up by dropping a squeaky ball on her when she's laying down!! I also snuggle up real close so she knows she's not alone. Wuff you mom!

Favorite Toy

I love to shake my squirrel toy and throw it up in the air. I actually have two! (one for upstairs and one for downstairs)  I like to stand it up in the window when my mom is gone so she sees it as she pulls up in front of our home. I also like to make it squeak...so much so that my mom has been known to put it up after 11 p.m. (can you believe that?!) So since I have one to spare I like to hide one in the bedroom and then retrieve it and drop it on her when she is asleep at night! For some reason she doesn't like to play at 3 a.m. ~  hmmm what is up with that anyways????????

Another week has gone by.  My mom was gone alot...I didn't like that...she told me she goes back to work in 3 wks (I am trying to figure out what she meant by that).  I still won't sit for a picture....maybe this weekend if she gives me a treat!

Another week gone

Where did the week go??? My mom has been gone...alot...what is up with that?  It's suppose to be summer vacation. Yesterday when she was gone I pulled her jeans off from the chair in the bedroom and got a kleenex out of the jean's pockets and shredded it!  I was so proud of myself!!! She got her hair cut yesterday--short-- so I feel better now and may let her take my picture! It is so hot out that I do not want to go out during the day...I make my mom carry me out and put me on the grass to do my business. I heard her tell Eddie B's mom that we are going to visit the last Sat. of the month. Hmmm...you all know how I feel about other mini-men!!!

Spa Day

Today was my Spa Day. My mom had me cut short...oh my. I mean I thought you wanted for me to get a skirt and nice face fur and then you have it cut off!!  Of course it is cooler and she knows I hate the heat. As long as you let it grow back.....I am the girly girl and like looking all prissy!! I have to get use to this new look...I wouldn't even stay still for pictures..let the shock sink in.  Well...at least fur grows and mine grows quickly!!!

Another Rainy Day

Ok, enough already with all this rain...I hate wet fur and paws!!!  My mom has to drag me outside...even if she holds an umbrella over me I still get wet. I want the sun to come out...now!!!

A Visitor

Today someone stopped by for a visit and threw the ball for me to fetch...ok..truth be told I suppose they came to see my mom, but played with me just the same.  Wuff you Pam!!!

The Sun Came Out!

Yeah...after days of rain and I mean pouring nonstop rain, the sun has come out!!  I am so glad...I was tired of wet fur and paws!!!

Vet Visit

Today was my annual vet visit and of course it was pouring rain so I was in a growling mood! (I don't like getting  my paws and fur wet) I weighed 19 lbs. Got my shots, got examined and got out of there!! No offense, but it is not my favorite thing to have my butt examined and receive shots etc  My mom gave me a special treat when I got home. I heard next Sat. is my Spa Day (i.e. groom)....I hope my mini friends Heidi and Sissy are there too as we all bark like crazy at each other!!!

It's alittle cooler out

Today my mom took me out early...she had to wake me up---I am not use to going out at 6:30 a.m. Does this mean summer vacation is over???  She told me she had an in-service to go to.  It was cooler out and breezy....I liked that.  When I got inside I ran right back to my bed and curled up to catch some more zzzs...I mean really, it IS summer vacation!!!

A Year Ago

One year ago someone took me from the home I had known, drove to someone's house and dumped me in the hands of someone I did not know....literally and walked away! Thankfully for me it was the home of the MSRH President and her husband. I was taken to the vet as I was not in the best condition (there's an understatement) and had to spend a couple weeks there before returning to stay at the Prez's house (awesome digs if I say so myself) until such time that I was adopted by my mom. (that's another story though)  Today is all about my one year anniversary of being rescued by MSRH. Thank you does not seem to be enough, but from my furry perspective you all totally rock!!!!  Who knows if I would even be here if it wasn't for you!! I know it takes a "village"  and then some to save each mini.  I especially today dedicate my post to Aunt Karen and Uncle Mike ~ you both loved and cared for me and ultimately helped my mom find me after the untimely passing of her beloved Cane.  I wuff you!!!!!

Weekend

Another weekend is upon us...where does time go??? When it's so hot outside I like to take an afternoon nap...I mean it's too darn hot to do much else..well there is Frosty Paws (hint hint mom)!

Over the hump Wednesday

Yesterday I watched my mom paint. In the afternoon one of my "fans" stopped by and of course threw the ball to me...anyone who knows me knows how I will fetch a ball till I drop! Today is Wed. ~ so much to do....play ball, shake my squirrel toy, hide my hedgehog animal and beg for treats. Oh and lets not forget..jump in mom's lap (if she ever sits down) to be petted. It's the good mini life! Have a great day everyone, I know I will! Wuffs to you all!

Another Weekend....

has come and gone.  I think I am liking this thing called "summer vacation"...all the days seem alike.  Lots of time with my mom playing ball, suggling in her lap or next to her when she reads.....a dog could get use to this.  Hey I AM a mini and I love this!!!

It's About Time

This is more like it ~ I get up and my mom takes me for a walk and then feeds me breakfast.  Then I sit on the couch and watch her jump around and do strange stuff in front of the box with people on it. She told me she's working out..whatever...I like watching her from the comfort of the easy chair  ~ yawn! Then she showers and it's time to take me out again..I like this.  Then she'll play ball with me till I go to my bed and curl up for a mid morning nap.  In the afternoon I will drop a squeaky toy at her feet (hint hint) and she'll play with me some more ~ now that's what I call vacation...or better described as "Brooke Time"!!!!!

I have waited patiently and it is now time for you to pamper me....like play ball, rub my tummy, shake my squirrel toy at me etc etc  Oh and some Frosty Paws might be nice..it is way too hot outside!!! Summer vacation starts now!

Summer Vacation

Ok, so I recall my mom saying it was summer vacation.  But she gets up and leaves early and is gone during the day ~ hmmm...what is up with that???
Today I heard her tell someone she has another in-service tomorrow...guess that means she'll be gone.  Guess I will go back to chewing on my bone and sleeping during the day! Hey mom ~ when does summer vacation begin for real?!
