I can hear Frosty Paws calling my name!

It is suppose to be in the 100s before the heat index starting today and going thru the week---good grief...am sure glad my mom had a new AC unit put in!  Hey mom...I hope you have a box of Frosty Paws in the freezer!

No Lap top for a day

I have been soo lost and let's not even go into how my mom felt--yikes.  New Laptop and she had better get my picture up as a screen saver-lolol!

Over The Hump Wed

So I hear there is a storm in the Gulf....hmmmmm.....I think that means it will rain....alot.   I heard my mom change my groom appt. to next week....hey maybe that means she'll be home more (she's been out and about alot lately)  Must go in search of her lap as she's now home!

Monday Monday

My mom was up early and otta here...well after taking me out of course!  She was home by noon though and I was happy.  She keeps telling me I have to get use to her being gone during the day as school is starting very soon...sigh. As for now I am going in search of her lap!

Early Morning Bath!

We all know how I feel about that! Soaking in the special shampoo and then a rub in of the medicated leave in conditioner.  I ran all over the house like a mini banshee afterwards!!!  At least it's over with and I have the rest of my day to enjoy...now where is my favorite squeaky ball for my mom to throw......hmmm?!?!

TDIF

It rained today...really rained....like I could hear it hitting the windows and there were big puddles when my mom took me out to walk!!!  I heard her tell someone this morning that there is only 3 more wks till she goes back to work--Wow!  Where did our summer break go??  I need to squeeze in more "Brooke time" big time before my mom goes back!  Excuse me while I go in search of her lap!

It's very cool--inside that is!!

My excitement yesterday was supervising the new AC installation!  There were  workers here, there and everywhere. I ran up and down the stairs to take it all in--they climbed up the side of my mom's place...and at one point I could see them thru the grates in the upsatirs hallway on the roof.  They were in and out as well----I stopped growling after the first hr!!!!  I was soo tired after all the excitement I took a nice long nap in the absolute coolness of the new AC.  Ahhhh...it's truly a pampered mini's life!

I see rain outside - AMAZING!!!  Time for me to curl up and snooze!!!

Monday Morning

I got in some quailty lap time as I heard my mom tell someone yesterday that she would be gone alot today...sigh. That means I will be napping big time...until she comes home and I drop all my squeaky toys and balls on her...hint hint!!!!

Light rain = good napping weather.....esp. if it's on my mom's lap!!!

It's Friday and no rain, again!!!!

This is me sitting on green grass BEFORE the drought.  Now we all know how I feel about the wet stuff, but hey we really need it to rain...so that the grass I like to sit on stays green.  Hopefully this weekend it will finally rain and I promise I won't complain!  Especially if I get lots of "Brooke time" and how about some Frosty Paws--it is hot out!!!

Waiting For My Mom To Come Home

It's summer and when my mom is gone this is where she finds me...waiting for her as she comes thru the door.  It's my favorite chair as I can see out the front window.  She is not suppose to be gone long...it's summer vacation...just sayin!!!

It's Friday!!!  My mom took me for a short walk early this morning....it is still awfully hot out!!! I just like to snooze...somewhere near my mom...if only she would stay still and not move around so much...she's always doing something...I think she needs to throw the ball for me so let me get it.....at least she is home...where she belongs...with me!!! Wuff ya mom!!!

Day After The 4th Of July

Yesterday was a holiday which meant Frosty Paws for me-yum!!! I can't believe it is the first week of July...man is summer flying by.....I like it having my mom home and all to myself.  Why does she have to   work anyways??  Oh yeah...doggie bling, Frosty Paws, squeaky toys, and grooming to name a few reasons!!!

It's A Dog Day Afternoon

Man, is it hot out.  I just move from floor fan to floor fan!  My vet visit was ok (if you like shots and having your butt touched!)  I have meds for my skin allergies again as they flared up!  I need to catch some zzs to be ready for the company coming this weekend...I mean come on now---I expect a ball to be thrown and some good pats on the head from all who come thru my (and my mom's) door!!!
