Nite Nite everyone

I have had a very busy past few days...I love Spring Break when my mom is off!

Today my home had the carpets cleaned

So my sister Clarisse and I were gated in the kitchen with my mom. I made myself comfortable while Clarisse barked her fool head off at the guy cleaning the carpets...like he even cared!

Yesterday was a great day!

 Besides a good vet report my Aunt Sherry came to visit and brought me this cool toy!

 She also brought handmade Mardi Gras colors she made for me and my sister Clarisse.

And she made us St. Pat's collars too...BOL!!! Only the best for us! Wuff you Aunt Sherry!!!

Whew...so much has happened...

I did get the results back from the swab...I have a hard to treat infection called MRSP
Dr. Doug started me on  some heavy duty antibiotics and said I had to be checked weekly.
That was last Friday.

Yesterday I went in for my check up and Dr. Doug said it was better than he had expected..no drainage and it is closing/healing up! To say my mom was happy was an understatement! So one hurdle down a few more to go.  After I finish out this round of meds we have to wait a few wks to make sure it does not reoccur.  As for now...treat please...I mean this is spring break...BOL!!!!

Setback

well..everything had been going so great and then when I had my laser treatment  last Friday it was discovered my incision had opened alittle.  It was treated bandaged and I am on antibiotics.  When my mom took me yesterday and the bandage was removed it had not healed so more xrays and a culture to see what is going on.  My mom was very upset, however I am more upset than her as I have to wear the dreaded cone all the time till they find out what is wrong....grrrrrrr...I hate the cone!!
But I am not allowed to lick!
