It's The Weekend

...yeah and a warm one at that--where did the nice cool weather of Wed-Thurs go????? I heard my mom tell someone I was getting groomed this coming Wed (sigh). But on a happy note she is taking the whole day off  so that means time for me!!!! Well back to lie in front of the floor fan...wuffs to all!!!

Vacation's Over

Oh well, mom had to go back to work this morning.....isn't the school year over yet?! I want her to be home....with me!!! At least she came home on her lunch today and we played fetch for a long time when she got home from work! Wuff ya mom!!!

Happy Easter

For Easter my mom let me have some Frosty  Paws as it is so dang hot out.  What happened to Spring..it sure feels like summer outside.  Makes me want to snooze in front of the fan all afternoon!

The 3 day weekend has begun!!!

Yeah!!!! My mom is off for 3 days........we had a nice early morning walk.  I love it when she has more time for me (I mean I am the center of her world)!! Enjoy your Good Friday everyone!!! (also someone please tell her I am NOT wearing those Easter Bunny Ears and posing for pictures---I mean come on now....)

Wonderful Wed

It's not over the hump day...that was yesterday for my mom as this is a 4 day wk and then a 3 day wkend--woo hoo for me!!! I hear it's only 29 days of school left before summer break---bring it!!!

Startled By A Real Live Squirrel

From my pictorial archives....Me...holding my favorite toy (the squeaky squirrel)  Love to shake that thing and toss it in the air and bury it under the covers on my mom's bed.  Today while walking a REAL squirrel ran up towards me and jumped over me on a tree and ran up it.  I was so surprised I literally tried to crawl up my mom's leg!!! (hey--no comments that I was a wuss please....it startled me!)

Beautiful Day Outside

It's Saturday...my favorite day of the week cause it's the weekend and I get to do stuff with my mom. The weather is awesome today...I do not want to come in---real nice breeze that blows thru my fur!!! I heard my mom say it's bath day....sigh.....of course if I get to go for a long walk afterwards I might forgive her-lol!

Cooler Weather Outside

Love the cooler weather...such a nice change...wish it would stay like this forever...sigh.

Dog Day Afternoon

It is rather warm, muggy and a tad bit breezy out. I am stretched out in front of a floor fan enjoying the soft, cool  breeze thru my fur. Hope your Sunday is as fine as mine!

Saturday....

in the Park!  It is awfully warm and muggy...even with a breeze - I was glad to get home to air conditioned comfort and my mom's lap!!

I am munching on a couple of "Charlie Bears" before turning in for the night.  Yum yum..love those things (esp. the turkey and cranberry ones!)

Monday

It was warm and muggy when I went outside this morning....I could hear the wind blowing today and when my mom got home she opened all the windows and guess what?  It is cooler out and I love it!! We went for a nice walk and the wind blew through my fur!!! Ahhh..one of my favorite things...well besides sleeping curled up in my mom's lap!!  Wuff ya mom!!!

Dog Day Afternoon

As you can see I have been busy this morning either chasing my favorite squeaky toy ball or watching out the window at the workmen working in putting in new side walks.  I absolutely hated the sound of the jackhammer the other day--I hid under the bed!
My mom was busy this morning so I had to amuse myself ~ but she's been home now long enough to give me a bath (I took it like a dog) and rubbed in the leave in conditioner..no more scabs (for the moment anyways)  Then she brushed me and played fetch...my favorite by the way...and we did a quick walk (very warm and muggy out--yuck) I am now tired and need some beauty rest...wuffs to you all..enjoy your Sat. ~ I certianly am!!!
