Jury Duty Monday

So my mom confused me by being home longer in the morning than she usually is. She said she had Jury Duty...whatever that is. I enjoyed the extra lap time!  Then she was home earlier than usual in the afternoon (I heard her tell someone she wasn't picked). I liked that as we went for a lovely walk. All in all a rather nice Monday.  Wuff ya mom!

Sunday Afternoon Snooze

My mom and I took a long walk...the wind was really blowing and it was rather warm.  When we got home I drank alot of water and curled up to catch some zzzzssss...a perfect Sunday afternoon if you ask me!

Saturday

Yeah...the weekend is FINALLY here...not much sun but I have been out and about with my mom twice already today.  Nice breeze blowing thru my fur...makes me happy!!!

TDIF TOMORROW

That's right folks...Thank Dog It's Friday tomorrow because that means the weekend begins and it's more time with my mom for me!!!!!

Brooke The Defender

My mom and I were walking and she was answering her cell phone when she stumbled, tripped and fell...she did not get right up---I stood guard with one paw on her and would NOT let the guy next door who saw it and came running asking if she was ok near her...I mean I was growling and showing ALL my teeth and standing between him and my mom.  I was so relieved when she rolled over and sat up and said she was ok...I could see she was bleeding and limping.  I stayed real close to her till I got her safely home and I have not let let out of my sight nor have I gotten out of her lap.  Gee mom..you need to be more careful!  Wuff you!!!

Ahh.....A Nice Sunday Afternoon

After a bath (which I was non too pleased about) and leave in conditioner for my skin and air drying, my mom finally took me for a l-o-n-g walk---it was wonderful. We also played fetch with the ball till I was tired.  Now it is time for me to catch some zzssssss! Enjoy your Sunday!!!!

It's Friday and the sun is shinning and I am ready for my mom to come home--let the weekend begin!!

I'm still grumpy

I wish my mom could stay home so I could lay in her lap!  Sigh...she has to go to work.  Well, my lab results are back and I will remain on the thyroid pills...fine with me, just don't make me go to the vet's office for awhile!
Now where is my mom...I think we both need a walk...some bonding with Brooke time!!!

Vet Visit

Have you ever read the children's book entitled so and sos very bad, terrible horrible day?? Well that would be my vet visit today.  First I growled, barked and snarled at Dr. H and wouldn't let him near me.  It took 3 females to hold me while the nurse tried to draw blood for my T4 and I was so worked up it was hard to get a vein to behave!  I was exhausted...at least they put a very bright pink bandage where I bled.  Some Valentine's Day for me...what ever were you thinking mom?????

Water and ducks and squirrels....oh my!

I had the most wonderful day!  My mom took me to her favorite place for a 3 mile walk. It was sunny and warm. There were ducks and squirrels and wooden piers and bridges over and by water. Trees (that I tried to mark but couldn't do them all--too many) lined the pathways we walked. I was soo tired I fell asleep in the car on the way home! I wish my mom had remembered the camera so I could post some pics ~ wuff you anyways mom!!

Things That I Love!

Because it is Valentine's Day and everyone is talking about love, I thought I would share a few things that I love:

I love sleeping in my bed.

I love sitting in my favorite chair.

I love doggie bling.

I love looking out the window.

I love playing fetch!

Love shaking my squirrel toy!!

I love blogging !

I love Frosty Paws.

But most of all I love my mom and being in her lap and life! Also a special shout out to MSRH (and Aunt Karen) I love that you saved me!!! Happy Valentine's Day wuffs to you all!!!

Ahh the weekend

...and it is warm and I just did a 2 mile walk with my mom.  It was sooo nice to feel the warm sunshine and be outside.  She told me it's suppose to be nice all week.  Yeah!  Lots of dog walking ahead for me and my mom!!!

Another Artic Freeze

Brrrrr..it is sooo cold..again and I hate it,  but my mom will be home early cause her school district is closing early.....again.  Where is Spring????

Back to work Monday

My mom thought I didn't notice her going out the door this morning..well I did.  Must be back to work day.  I couldn't wait for her to get home today.  I noticed it was chilly out and hear it's about to get down right freezing again-I hate the cold.  Now where is my mom's lap? A blanket would be nice too!

Super Sunday

What a great day!  I got to go with my mom to a friend's house.  I ran all over the backyard and played fetch and lounged in the sun...when I wasn't on the couch next to someone! I wish it was warm like this every day....please Spring come! Thank you wuffs to Ms. Jo for letting me visit!

It's a heat wave!!!

It was sunny and warm when I took a walk...a balmy 50 degrees out---I love it...I did not want to come in. Hey mom let's go for a long walk this afternoon...I mean it's been 4 days since we have due to the freezing weather!!!

The Good Ole Days...

when grass was green and soft and there was sunshine and it was warm outside.  Sigh....I remember those days...please say it won't be much longer till Spring comes. (I heard some rodent in Pa. did not see his shadow so Spring is suppose to come early?!)

I do not like ice!

This morning I learned about ice.   It is hard to walk and avoid sliding...also I do NOT like squating on ice covered grass--it's very cold and stiff and when is Spring going to be here?!!! The only good part is I got to be in my mom's lap...alot.

Snow Day???

It is still brrr out and I heard there may be a snow day tomorrow (what's snow??)  I heard my mom tell someone most all schools around us were cancelling classes tomorrow..but not hers...at least not yet. Could mean extra lap time tomorrow and you know I am all for that! Wuff!

It is very very cold

Brrrrrr...going down to the 20s with wind chills in the teens!!!  I have a sweater on and am NOT taking it off and I see my mom got me my own blanket....I heard my her say it will last for 4-5 days...and you call this the south?! I hate the cold.....Pleez...when is Spring?????
