3 Day Weekend

So it's the beginning of a 3 day weekend.  It's hot and my mom is still under the weather.  Well, all is not lost as I have some suggestions.  First, make sure I get some Frosty Paws!  Second, pet me...alot, preferably in front of a fan! Lastly, get some new pictures up...I have great commentary, but need the visuals!!!

Sharing

As I have shared before I love to sit here as I can see all over the living room and out the front window.  People walk by, squirrels go up the tree and those darn cats come by--right up to the window to mock me...let me at them.  This evening my mom really wanted to sit in my chair, so because she is still not feeling well from the Shingles, I let her--wuff you mom!!!

Staying Cool

It's hot out!! I do not like it...I run out do my business and am back at the door in a flash dragging my mom behind me---hurry up mom---the cement is hot on my doggie feet!
I think she needs to buy another floor fan--she has one in nearly every room for me and I like to stretch out in front of them...I want the one that moves back and forth--I like that cool breeze across my fur!!  She got me Frosty Paws (Frozen Doggie Ice cream)--I didn't quite know what to make of it...but decided I liked it.Stay cool everyone!

Cheering Up My Mom

It seems my mom is having skin problems too--she had to see the Dr. today, like I have had to see the vet. I heard her tell a friend it's Shingles.....she's not too happy about it.  I keep jumping in her lap and putting my paws on either side of her head-on her shoulders to let her know I understand.  I have sensitive skin too and have not liked all the treatments.  My skin is better so hopefully hers will be too. I wuff you mom!!! It will be ok...I promise!

It's raining, it's storming....

I am sitting at the window watching the rain..and is it coming down.  I hate getting my paws wet...good thing my mom walked me before it started pouring! I think I need a raincoat...hmmm...someone needs to tell her to buy me one!

In Memory

This was my predecessor, Candy "The Cane".  My mom adopted her from MSRH in 2007--she was older and dumped at a shelter after her owner had passed away.  I hear tell she was a rather unique mini--called "The Queen" by many.  She was adored by my mom and many others. She crossed over the bridge on 8/14/2009.  My mom was very very sad, but she adopted me the next day and I like to think I have made her happy! Hey I am unique in my own ways--I have a blog don't I?! You can call me "The Princess"!!!!!!

Mother's Day

Someone helped me send a card to my mom for Mother's Day...she certainly liked that!!! Excuse me while I go and chew on the Nylabone she got me from Petsmart this morning (I had destroyed my other one).  I am good--I only chew on it!

It's Friday

And that means the weekend and more time with my mom...yeah!!!!  Another good thing to note ~ my rash is near all gone!  I also heard my mom tell someone she's going to Petsmart tomorrow which usually means I may get a new toy...oh please please!
Time to take my squeaky basketball toy and drop it in my mom's lap---hint hint ~ time to play!!!! Have a great weekend...I know I will!!!

Just Chillin

It's hot outside.  It makes me want to sit in front of the fan my mom has set up for me...love to feel the cool breeze blow thru my fur!  Well...what's left of my fur since I was groomed Saturday!
I want to give a special shout out to all the kids in my mom's class. I bet you are counting the days till school is out...I know I am as that means more time with my mom!!!
Schnazuer growls to you all...I wuff you!!!!

Allergies

If you have allergies I so identify!  Had to see the vet today as my under arm (fore leg) pits had a rash and guess what---fungal stuff due to allergies.  My mom has to put stuff on it daily--I have such sensitive skin!
They gave me a special medicated bath before I was groomed--now I look all pretty...of course my mom forgot her camera so no picture today.  I am glad it is the weekend so I can spend time with my mom!  Hope you have a great weekend too!
